Recently, I was the first Creative Director at Atria Publishing where I was hired to refresh the creative vision of the 16 year old brand and its 10 imprints.
Before Atria, I led creative development and design of branded campaigns for select clients ranging in fashion, art and retail including The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Spanx, Flaunt Magazine, and Playboy Magazine. I have recently been asked to direct my first transmedia experience which will include a Virtual Reality awareness film partnering with a non profit.
I was the Media/Brand Consultant at Lehmann Maupin where I helped initiate artists and brand partnerships including Mickalene Thomas and Sephora and Tracey Emin and the Times Square Arts.
My background is in fine art. I attended two classical art ateliers with emphasis on Renaissance and Old Master painting techniques. I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, a Studio Art Certificate from Union Square Atelier/National Academy of Design and a Certificate from the Harlem Studio School Atelier.
Expanding on this solid painting foundation, I studied photography, graphic design, video and video editing. My rich vocabulary in art history, sharp eye for detail, and innate design cohesion brings a unique perspective to my work.
